Two-Day Induction
Every Summer Clerk journey begins with a two-day induction. It’s designed to be collaborative, informative, and fun, giving you the best start to your summer.

We believe the best learning happens through doing.
As a Summer Clerk, you’ll be actively involved in meaningful legal work. This may include:
- Reviewing contracts and drafting documents.
- Preparing memos, articles, and opinions.
- Assisting with commercial transactions.
- Attending client meetings or even court.
You’ll rotate across two teams, giving you a broad view of our work.
Placements are tailored to your interests across our four specialist areas:
Auckland
Christchurch, Dunedin, Queenstown
